Joshua Needs our Prayers.
We just received the following appeals from Joshua for prayer.
"My brother court, Greetings. I am in Total severe pain right
now. When I eat anything, the pain starts too much and when I talk the pain
spreads throughout my body starting from my arm. I need much prayers. I want to
go to Kisumu again to tell the doctor and if possible be admitted to the hospital. Pastor Joshua"
Joshua has been very ill for the past several days. He called our office a few days ago with "extreme pain." His son Willis called Sandy and me this morning from Kenya to inform us that Joshua had been to the hospital and that they had diagnosed his condition as Typhoid Fever. This is very serious. They have treated him and sent him home. Please keep him in your prayers, as Typhoid it is a very dangerous infection. Joshua is a precious, and greatly needed leader of the Body of Christ in Kenya.
Gratefully your servants in Jesus Christ,
Court and Sandy Wood

Joshua and Abigael recently sent this photo and letter to our office. They are caring for many orphans and widows in their church and ministry - St. Luke's Ministry
"Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus,
Thank you so much for your love and prayers
following the death of our beloved little Didon Osinde.
Today in the morning, the lords angels visited
with us and we saw Him in action. just a few kilometers away from our center, a young
woman who was giving birth, died just a few minutes after delivery. The baby had a one and half year old baby boy brother.
Today, the community brought the 12 day old
baby and her brother to be cared for at our center. A great
challenge indeed because Abigail and me had stopped giving birth and as you can
see brothers and sisters we have now a responsibility to care for Jesus in
reflection. we need you love , prayers and support to care for this little
babies. They need love, protection and provision. Our lord who owns silver and
Gold and the whole world in his hand shall stand with us and use us for his
glory. Please we need so much your love and
prayers. Joshua and Abigael

News About Bright - Still in danger from Kidnappers My Beloved Brother Court,
This is to inform you that my husband is safe and doing
ministry in the Eastern States of Nigeria. He is now in Okigwe, Imo State. The
kidnapping is very serious issue. The kidnappers are going to churches, crusade
grounds, funeral ceremony places and any where they can identify influential people
to kidnapp for ransome. As at this time, my husband has been very careful and
is safe but this development has hindered his free movements a bit. In all
things, God has been great and is keeping him safe. Thanks for your prayers and
support. Please continue to pray for Him as we expect him to be back safely in
a couple of weeks.
Thanks! Amaka Bright-Osigwe

"Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!" - The Apostle Paul 2 Corinthians 9:10-15 | |
