Ch. Raju congregationA few months ago I was with young Pastor Ch. Raju, (next to me to my right) Chinakondapudi, India.
They are praying for us.

Pastor Raju also has a wife and two children. They all live in this hut.

"Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. "Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. I tell you the truth, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them. Luke 12:32-37

"Give, and it will be given to you.

A good measure, pressed down,
shaken together and running over,
will be poured into your lap.
For with the measure you use,
it will be measured to you."
Our Lord Jesus Christ    Luke 6:38

Dear Friends, how much longer will we be able to help our brethren before everything is taken away from us? Where would our Lord, and the Word of God have us to invest in our giving? Who should we obey?

Our Lord warned us not to "let go of the commands of God" in order to "hold on to the traditions of men." We will do one or the other.

Present day teachings on giving directly oppose New Covenant giving. By teaching giving under the law, with twisted promises of material prosperity, we have been robbed of the true riches of Jesus Christ, and have become enslaved to this world.

As a further consequence of submitting to the bondage of the law in our giving, our eyes have been blinded to Christ in our persecuted brethren, our ears closed to their cries, and our hearts have become calloused.

The Body of Christ is struggling to survive behind the "gates of hell" while we "reign as kings" here in the West, "dwelling at ease in Zion."

What answer will we in the Western church give to the Lord if we have laid up treasures on earth (both in our church buildings, and in our lifestyles) instead of laying up treasures in Heaven. Pastor what answer will you give for failing to earnestly inform your people of the sufferings of God's people, and of our clear New Covenant responsibility to "lay down our lives for our brethren" by generously helping them?

Please join with us in helping our brethren, and in praying for an awakening in our churches to these clear biblical New Testament teachings of our Lord and the Apostles.

"We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him." Acts 5:32
