Dear Friends in the Lord
Following are a continuation of the most beautiful Christians I have ever met - the lepers in India who have come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. These are my precious family. Indeed they are your family if you are bound to Jesus Christ.
I pray you are able to preceive the depth of the beauty, love, and faith of Jesus Christ that resides so deeply in these precious saints. They possess the greatest faith because they come to the King of Kings out of the depths of great need. Their's is not the faith of the so called "prosperity gospel" but the faith of Job, and Joseph, and Abraham, and David, and Jesus Christ. They are truly "prosperous" for they are "rich in faith." They endure for the "joy that is set before them."
Court, walking with our leper brethren, and their precious children, inspecting the new housing being built for the leper families. A wonderful church in the US has provided most of the cost for these new houses, but we are still in need of funds for their completion. Please give to this need as you are able.
"Then Jesus said to his host, 'When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.'" Luke 14:12-14

The joy and faith of these lepers has been greatly strengthened by the love of their American brethren. The lepers of India are considered unclean and untouchable by most of Indian society, and most of them live in poverty in isolated colonies. Compelled by the grace and love of God in Jesus Christ, their Indian and American Christian brethren are reaching out to them, helping them, and embracing them. The greatest love we can show for our Lord Jesus Christ is for us to love His brethren, the Body of Christ.
My friends, please join with us in strengthening and comforting our brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ in India.
