Islamic Terrorists strike at Christians on Mindanao Island, The Philippines
Pastor Alex Montanano sends plea for our help.
Dear brethren in Jesus Chirst
In just a few weeks I will be leaving for China and the Philippines. The last week of my visit I will be with Pastor Alex Montanano on Mindanao Island, the Philippines. There is a large presence on this island of Islamic terrorist groups including al Qaeda. This week I have been receiving repeated pleas for help from our brother in Jesus Christ, Alex. Please help as you are able. I will take with me, and present to our brethren, 100% of any gifts for our brethren in China, N. Korea, and the Philippines. Please sacrificially and generously respond so that I may bring with me a clear and generous demonstration of our love for our family in Jesus Christ.

"Dear Brother Court and Sister Sandy,
There is an on going war of terrorists (The Moro Islamic Liberation Front), 5 hours away, where our co workers of the Gospel are pioneering a work for the Lord. Please pray for the families of the brethren who had family members killed and massacred, and their houses burned. Some have been held hostage and used as human shields when the government soldiers tried to capture the terrorist. We have been helping in the evacuation for these displaced Christian families. We are housing them in our church school.... We have more than 30 brethren with their children who have come to our church to find asylum from this distress and terrible fear. We are extending compassionate care to them as some of them are in a state of confusion and shock. Please pray for God's strength and comfort for these brethren. They are asking for anonymity and many fear having their for picture taken to avoid reprisals from the rebels and terrorists.....Food and medicines and sleeping mats and other necessities are greatly needed. Some of them have fled with only the clothes on their backs, leaving their homes and poor earthly belongings. Please pray with us for these displaced brethren.
Please also pray for my family's protection as we are under attack by the enemy from every side. Emma is having painful complications due to diabetes. My children have been sick. The church has had some struggles and troubles in the families. We have spent every thing for those needing our help, even to depriving my wife Emma of needed medication. Please pray with us. Everyday we have to trust God for everything we need.
Pastor Alex and Emma Montanano"

....'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' The Lord Jesus Christ Matthew 25 |
Thank you so much for giving and for praying. Apart from you the reality of our love would be empty. Because of your prayers and your giving, and our joining our hearts and hands together with our family in Jesus Christ, our love for our brethren becomes the deepest possible expression of our love for our Lord Jesus Christ. Indeed when we help our brethren, we are helping Him, for CHRIST IN US IS THE HOPE OF GLORY.
"And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints." The Apostle Paul 2 Corinthians 8:1-4 |
100% of Gifts sent to In Jesus' Name Ministries, designated to help our brethren in any country we are presently working in, are delivered directly to our brethren. All designated gifts are given in full to the churches and to the Body of Christ. | |
