Because of the Count Me In campaign, we have made great progress in paying down debt, re-roofing the church and reaching out in mission with a tithe of our capital funds.

We are invited to bring this campaign to a strong conclusion by asking those who have made pledges to fulfill those pledges by December 31.

In addition, we encourage everyone to consider a gift to the campaign (extra or new) as "fresh fruit" to help us reach our goal.

Obviously, the more we give now to reduce the principle on our loan, the less interest we will pay later. This becomes especially important for the period of April 2011 through March of 2012, during which time we will pay debt service out of our Ministry Funding Plan (budget).

Also, we will be making at least two significant missional gifts through our CMI tithe. One significant gift to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) for ongoing relief and re-building efforts in Haiti is being considered, along with another to a local ministry capital need. The Missions Team will make recommendations to the Church Council for approval in January.

Everyone's gift is needed and every gift is valued! The beauty of our connectional way (being United Methodists) is that our efforts, our prayers, our ministry and our dollars are always combined to go so much further than they ever could individually. So, large or small, your gift matters!
