Greetings!
With sunny days and mild temperatures spring is certainly off to a gorgeous start. We hope you're enjoying the outdoors and catching a few rays. Here are some of the latest happenings at the Inn and around the valley.

Adventure Awaits You
Have you seen the latest craze in outdoor adventure? The picture alone is worth a thousand thrills. Master the art of climbing, swinging or hanging from ropes. This is Monkey Trunks. If your courageous enough to play with ropes, another craze going on at Brentton Woods is Canopy Tours with an 800 foot dual zip ride. Yikes!! |
Striving to be "Green"
The Cabernet Inn took on the Eco Challenge last spring . With a years worth of " Going Green" efforts and working with the New Hampshire Sustainable Lodging & Restaurant Program we are delighted to announce that we have qualified to be Champions. This will be an on going commitment to try and reduce our Carbon Footprint in the years to come. We are always open to suggestions and ideas that you might have to help us with our challenge.
With all that said, we have been searching for fun ways to get our guests more involved in our "Green" mission. I think we may have achieved this goal with the help of our B&B association, Bed & Breakfasts Inn Mt Washington Valley. On June 13th we will be hosting our first "Green" event. This is not your typical Inn to Inn tour. Each paticipating Inn will be holding a yard sale Yankee Swap. There will also be a "Green" raffle item at each location and an Innkeeper on hand to share there conservation efforts. For more information visit our FROG Eco Event package. Come see the valley coming to life!

Couples Corner
Have you ever heard of a Mancation? It's a getaway for guys, typically done without the female persona, geared towards buddies getting away to do the guy thing.
We've decided to put an interesting twist on this idea it's called the Pail Ale MaleMancation.
Ladies don't you worry this package includes you too! |
Inn-sanely Decadent
As members of the Bed & Breakfast Inn the Mt Washington Valley Association we participate in an annual event called March Maple Madness. It is an Inn to Inn tour sampling sweet and savory maple treats. There are sugar shacks along the route, maple country partners and a scavenger hunt to add silly adventure with prizes to win. This year we asked the guests participating to vote on their favorite treat. Our Maple Mac and Cheese with Pancettawon! It is very simple to make and we hope you find it as delicious as we do.
Enjoy!
Jessica's tips - If Pancetta is hard to find, a good quality bacon can easily be substituted. |
