Greetings! 

Smooth as silk....

 

That's the best way to describe these first 3 days.  You sure do have some great kids...  They came back ready to get into the swing of things.  They remember all the procedures and routines and helped everything to run so smoothly.

 

As one student told me when he got off the bus this morning, "Today we start learning for real!"  Next week will begin many of the assessments and lessons that we do early in the year to guage where students are in their learning.  Watch for homework and tired kids next week.

August 24 - 1st day for Preschool

Aug 29 - Sep 9 - PTO Entertainment Book sale

Aug 30 - SBDM Council, 5:30

Aug 31 - MAP testing begins

Sept 6 - Karate Club assembly

Sept 8 - WatchDog Dads mtg - 6:30pm

 Have you seen the new field yet?  The field isn't ready yet, but the backstop that your PTO paid for is!  It will be another year before the field is ready, but it sure looks awesome, thanks PTO!
