From a Parent Intensive Graduate
I was in a desperate place with my 3 year-old son. We were butting heads constantly. Too many days ended in tears (for both of us). Time-outs didn't work, and only made me sad. I could see in his eyes that he was afraid and getting more angry every day. I felt like I was failing him (and myself). I didn't know how to handle him.
