We are a nonprofit mental health treatment center providing programs designed specifically for kids ages 3-17. Our goal is to provide families throughout South Texas greater access to children's mental health care regardless of their ability to pay.

free community presentation: safety and permanency in child protective services
Attend our community presentation on Friday, April 1, 1-3 p.m.

Group of KidsChild Protective Services (CPS) aims to protect children and to act in their best interest. The agency helps parents and other family members solve problems that lead to abuse and neglect. Their goal is to provide services and support to help families stay together and to help kids in need to find a safe and stable place to stay. For this free community presentation, participants will learn about the following:
  • What happens when you call CPS?
  • What process does CPS use?
  • How can the agency help children and families?

Melissa Tijerina, LPC, CPS program administrator, will be the speaker at this free event.

 

The program qualifies for 2 hours of CEU credit (LPC, LMSW, RN and PhD). Space is limited, so please RSVP.

Sundt gives Clarity CGC grant
We received one of their first grants for 2011
  
In the NewsThe Sundt Foundation - the philanthropic arm of general contractor Sundt Construction Inc. - awarded Clarity CGC a $3,500 grant that will go towards the purchase of a sunshade canopy for our playscape.

Register to attend our English parenting classes

Clarity CGC hosts parenting classes at our outpatient campus every Thursday. Classes in English will be held 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. 
  • March 17 - Communication Within The Family
  • March 24 - Establishing Authority as a Parent and Using Effective Discipline Techniques
  • March 31 - Dealing With Anger and Conflict in the Family
  • April 7 - Nurturing Children's Self-Esteem
  • April 14 - Raising 21st Century Kids

**Please note that our Spanish parenting classes will begin April 21.**
