DANIEL KENNEY as EXECUTIVE CHEF

(Sandwich, Cape Cod, MA) - Christopher Wilson, Owner Innkeeper of the Belfry Inne & Bistro is pleased to announce the hiring of Daniel Kenney to Executive Chef for the 21-room luxury inn. 
Prior to joining the Belfry he served as Executive Chef of the Four Seasons five diamond hotel in Costa Rica. In March of 2006 he was appointed Executive Chef of the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington DC. He was in direct charge of all food operations of the most historic hotel in America. Daniel joined the culinary team of the Langham Hotel, Boston in 1998 and served as Executive Chef until 2006. Prior to that he was Executive Chef at the LeMeridien Hotel, Boston Ma.
Daniel has traveled extensively to broaden his culinary perspective. He studied Provençal cuisine at Le Méridien Nice and has worked with the acclaimed Joachim Splichal at Patina in Beverly Hills while researching Napa Valley wineries.
A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Daniel will oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including Belfry Bistro and Painted Lady Café and banquets. Now closer to his ancestral home he will again become actively involved in the numerous Foundations he was prior to traveling out of New England.
It is Daniel's charge to effect the changes necessary to lead The Belfry Inne to achieve four star status among its' peers. He looks forward to establishing roots in the Cape Cod community as well as the Boston metro area.
