Oftentimes, we say that we want the best in our lives, but inside, we are really expecting the worse. And, since our minds are creative, the worse possible scenarios sometimes happen.
We end up suffering, and fighting the world. We are exhausted at the end of the day.
You may think, "How can I expect the best when the media is constantly reporting disasters. The world is in such turmoil. The economy is downturned, and I am barely making ends meet?"
Despite what is going on around you, you don't have to be a victim.
There are people who have lost their homes, their jobs, and their relationships, but they proclaimed they will build a better home. They vowed they will find a better job, or create their own business. They believe the next relationship will be the best one they have ever had.
You don't hear about them in the news, but those are the successful people in life. They don't ignore the news, but they don't let difficult times stop them.
Did you know that eight out of 10 millionaires have been financially bankrupted? They failed their way to success, and so can you.
They say if you haven't failed in life, it means you haven't tried.
You see, you are not some hapless, weak being. You are an individualized God creation. What does that mean?
All the power, the love, the abundance and the health of your Higher Power flows through you and is in you at this very moment.
So, instead of expecting and bracing yourself for a bad day, proclaim, "This is going to be a great day!" "This is going to be a fantastic day."
Are you lying to yourself?
Nope, you are simply lining up with your true, unlimited self.
Say it with meaning and feeling, and you will start believing it. Don't take our word, try it.
Life is not meant to be a struggle.
Remember, you are powerful. Your mind is creative, and your thoughts are energy. So whatever you are proclaiming will materialize.
For some, it may take a lot of convincing because they have been down for so long. If that is you, just know underneath all of those thoughts that tell you, "I can't," is your true, unlimited self who was born to be great.
Decide, "This is going to be a great day. " (Despite adverse appearances.)
Say it everyday, despite people around you saying the opposite.
Keep open, love, be grateful for even the small things, and expect the best.
Love, Light and Blessings,
Walter and Janet
P.S. Read one of our all-time favorite motivational-spiritual books: "The Power of Positive Thinking," by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, called the Godfather of Motivation. Be sure and read the chapter "Expect the Best."
