You Have Already Won

There is no competion with Others

Often, we look at other's progress in life, and think we should be further along than we are.  Or, we think that we have to compete with others.

However, you are unique.   You have already won the magnificent race of being born.  You are already the greatest miracle.  There is no one else like you on the planet, so why compare yourself to others, and what they have?

According to biologists, during the time of your conception, out of about a hundred million sperm cells were released, about 1 in 10, or 10 million, were capable of fertilizing an ovum.   And 1 of about 100 of the latter were released. That means the chances of any two particular sex cells joining at that particular time were about one in a billion.

So you have already competed, and won.  Your greatest challenge now is being your authentic self.

It's not important to be like others, and to try to follow their lead.  It's important to be yourself.  Their story is not your story.  Their success or failure does not apply to you. So, don't get discouraged with your journey and think you should be like others.

You came here onto the planet alone, and that's the way you will leave.  So it's important to celebrate your unique self.  Cultivate your gifts and talents to be a light to others. Follow your dreams, despite what others say.  And, if you are dealing with naysayers, your dream was not given to you, not to them.  Don't tell everyone your plans, just do it. 

The only competition you should engage in, is with yourself, to be the best you.
