Spring has definitely sprung in Teton Valley! We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter this past weekend with friends and family.
Now that most of us are transitioned out of skiing and other winter sports, it is time to get moving in the sunshine.
Running, walking, hiking, cycling, paddling or whatever pursuit gets you active soaking up some natural vitamin D in the great outdoors!

The April fitness class schedule is posted!!!
Come work on your core strength and overall fitness in our new bright, airy fitness space.
- Childcare provided by our staff of compassionate and loving moms!
- All classes taught to multiple levels. Our instructors are very mindful to offer modifications for anyone rehabilitating an injury or just re-starting a fitness regiment.
- Individual personal training is available. Get more results!
- Our energetic, group setting encourages everyone do their best. Feed off the group enthusiasm and get a better workout than doing it on your own.
- Expert instruction teaching proper form and technique to maximize results and keep you injury-free.

- Patricia will be teaching Zumba the rest of the month on Saturdays at 11:00am.
- Dave is now offering a 6:30am - 8:00am Boot Camp Class on Mondays and Wednesdays. This is similar to Lisa's class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For all levels.
- Lisa is teaching a new Running Fitness class from 10:45am - 11:45am on Tuesday and Thursday. Get instruction on running form, drills, hills, speed work, nutrition, hydration, and gait analysis. This will be a great running workout coupled with expert instruction and coaching. This is open for all levels. 5k to 100-miles and beyond! Come to Lisa's 9:00am fitness class and stay for running.
Dreamchasers Guest Speaker Series
Each month we will have an expert guest speaker giving a talk/presentation on a relevant health and wellness topic. This month on Wednesday, April 18th we will feature Dr. Jim Davis from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. The topic of his talk will be MENTAL CLARITY.
In addition to excellent chiropractic care, Dr. Davis offers nutritional evaluation and testing, hormonal evaluation and balancing, allergy elimination techniques, life-style modification, and weight loss support. Expectant mothers appreciate his pre-term care and athletes seek his services to maintain optimal performance and relief from sports injury.
Dr. Davis has a lot of offer those who visit his practice. He uses a wide variety of diagnosis and treatment techniques, some of which include the activator, Applied Kinesiology, acupressure, laser, NLP, NAET and muscle testing as a source of bio-feedback.
Approachable and friendly, Dr. Jim has a way of putting people at ease, including children who appreciate his sense of humor and quickly come to trust his gentle care. Dr. Jim has a saying that reflects his philosophy for patient care: "Doctors are easy to fire, you just don't go back." His respectful, patient-centered, results-oriented service is what all of us are searching for. But most importantly, Dr. Jim sincerely cares about people and wants us to feel our very best.

2.7 mile uphill run 1840' to the top of Fred's Mtn. at Grand Targhee Resort in Alta, WY.
July 12: Tin Cup Challenge
Spectacular views of the Tetons. Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half-Marathon, 10k, 5k, and 5k Fun Run. All proceeds benefit Teton Valley non-profits.
Aug 4: John Colter Half Marathon & Fun Run
36th running of this event in Driggs, ID with amazing views of the Teton Mountains.
Sept 1: Grand Teton Races
50-mile, 50k, Marathon, and 10k races that wind though the spectacular Teton Mountain Range. There's also a Fun Run for the little trail runners in the Valley!
Sept 23: Jackson Hole Marathon, The Hole Half Marathon and Marathon Relay
Races starting on the historic square in Jackson Hole, WY and ﬁnishing in Teton Village.
Oct 6-7: Yellowstone-Teton Endurance Races
100-mile, 50-mile, and 100-mile Relay races starting in beautiful West Yellowstone and
following the Scenic By-Way to the doorstep of the Teton Mountains. Amazing scenery
Dec 11: Tucson Marathon
A fast, downhill marathon with warm winter temperatures along the Santa Catalina Mountain
Range. Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay.

Local Athlete Success Stories
Each newsletter we will share the story of a success story of someone in our community. We all measure success differently and there are examples around us all the time of people doing some amazing things or just consistently making progress towards their own fitness/lifestyle goals.
This issue we spotlight Julie Bryan. She ran for the USA on the Mountain Running Team for 6 consecutive years. Julie has raced both nationally and internationally for the Teva Mountain Running Team. A non-running injury to her knee caused her to have surgery a while back. She has been working her way diligently back into top form through her dedication and hard work.
Recently she added a variety of the Boot Camp and Core/Cardio classes to the mix of her fitness regiment. She was very impressed at the amount of solid work and attention her core got in class and has been a regular fixture in class ever since. Watch out for Julie on the mountain trails as the snow clears. She is coming back stronger than ever!
We all get knocked down in life sometimes. The key is to always get back up. Here is a great video that epitomizes this. This amazing young lady could have chosen not to get up this time as many in her situation might not have.
We will fall. We can rise.
