It's no secret that we like Color Kinetics LED fixtures. To make CK's fixtures even more effective in live entertainment, we invented an entire range of rugged professional grade power/data supplies, many of which utilize our WDS Wireless Data System wireless DMX.

Lighting designers Jules Fisher and Peggy Eisenhauer asked us to develop a custom LED star field for their Atlantic Theatre Company production of 10 Million Miles. Picture a star drop in three dimensions over the stage, able to mix colors. Larry Dunn, CTI's Head of Engineering, developed a custom solution to meet their needs.

LD Mike Baldassari's design for the kids TV show "Sheira & Loli's Dittydoodle Works" includes lighting the interior of a custom desk with WDS Wireless DMX and battery operated LEDs. Mike's design utilizes several of City Theatrical's leading edge technologies, as well as the design solutions of CTI's engineering staff.

There is simply no substitute for dry ice fog. Others have tried to imitate it, but nothing is as thick or hugs the floor better than dry ice fog. Many professioinal directors will settle for nothing less. After producing large stainless steel dry ice machines for Broadway shows and tours like Phantom of the Opera and Miss Saigon, CTI decided to make a smaller, lighter and more user friendly dry ice fogger that has become the standard of the lighting industry.
