Heroes Unmasked Fall Festival We had over 300 children and their parents join us for the Heroes Unmasked
Fall Festival on October 29. It was a great time for the whole
family. Kids filled their bags with tons of candy, cupcakes and prizes
and even got to meet some live Bible heroes. A big thank you goes out
to the over 40 volunteers who helped make this night such a success!

Bible Memory Verses Bible memory verses for KICK and Promiseland are now available on the Children's Ministry website. This is a great way to keep track of what verses we are working on each week. You also can review past verses and see if your child can remember them. Do you have ideas to help kids memorize verses? Share them with us!

Book Donations
The Wading Pond Nursery is looking for new and gently used books. If you have any books at home that your children have outgrown, we would love to use them in the nursery! Donations can be dropped off at the nursery or the Children's Ministry kiosk.

Fall Family Ideas
Tiny Toms Head outside and gather some pine cones to make these cute Thanksgiving turkeys. You can find the instructions for this great family craft here.
"Thankerchief" Sit your family down in a circle. Pass around a "thankerchief" (handkerchief) as everyone recites this poem: Thankerchief, thankerchief, Around you go... Where you'll stop, nobody knows. But when you do, someone must say, What we are thankful for on this day. When the poem is finished, the person holding the "thankerchief" must tell one thing they are thankful for. Continue until everyone gets a turn!
Leaf Maze Get the family together to rake the leaves in your yard into a maze. You can have family members compete against themselves to see how quickly they can get through the maze. Then, when everyone has had a turn you can all pitch in to rake up the leaves!
