Orange Barrel Bash
Experiences often give birth to great ideas. Out of our road closure experience on 28th Street has come the great idea of having a party. When life is challenging, each of us needs others to give us hope, help, and encouragement. We're hoping to give a lift to the whole neighborhood!

We are in the process of trying to partner with other businesses on 28th Street and throw an
Orange Barrel Bash in the parking lot of Fair Haven. Complete with food, live music, and a bounce house for the kids, it will be an opportunity to take a time out from the inconvenience and share in being a part of the same experience and community.
The
Orange Barrel Bash will be next
Thursday, October 2, from
5 to 8 PM - you can come and go as you are able. The entire Fair Haven family is invited to the party with the hope that you can lift spirits, share some laughs, and provide joy to our neighbors who are living with the past months of difficulties and hassles, compliments of our road commission. (Just for the record - we are grateful and look forward to completion!)
If you are interested in helping volunteer - from passing out flyers door to door this Thursday night (September 25) to working the grill to pouring drinks or helping kids in the bounce house - you can let Doug McClintic, our pastor of mission and multiplication, know. Just email him your interest and availability: dougm@fhmin.org.
This is just another way we're trying to live out the life-giving vision of Fair Haven in being blessed to be a blessing in our community. Please pray and plan on sharing in this wonderful outreach experience!
Together in the Cause,
Tom
