Baseball in Brockton!
We are excited to announce that the Brockton Rox will play baseball in the 2012 and first season as a member of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL). The FCBL provides college athletes the opportunity to play with elite players from across the country while promoting their skills to Major League Baseball organizations.
In other Rox news: CEO, Chris Carminucci, and President, Michael Canina, announced the promotion of Assistant General Manager, Tom Healy, to General Manager of the Brockton Rox. Healy comes off his second season working for the Brockton Rox and will be the first General Manager to lead the Rox into their new league.

SEED Corporation
The South Eastern Economic Development (SEED) Corporation, a non-profit corporated was certified by SBA in 1982 to assist small businesses in the region. Since then, SEED has closed on a number of loans that benefit Brockton. These loans enable many businesses to continue operations, expand and create more jobs.
They have partnered with the us, the City of Brockton, the Metro South Chamber of Commerce and Old Colony Planning Council to establish a Revolving Loan fund for Brockton businesses.
SEED provides technical assistance to small businesses and works with other economic development organizations and financing institutions in the region. SEED works to ensure that any individual who is committed to owning and operating a small business is able to obtain the assistance they need to be successful.
