Be a part of this special day and walk to school: put on your walking shoes, hand your parent a coffee mug, bring along your little siblings, pick up your neighbor's kid, join a Walking School Bus... and WALK to SCHOOL!

For more information go to www.saferoutesinfo.com

REWARDS:

Every student walking will receive a special Walk to School sticker or tattoo.

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

donna sims
Dear Central Families -

Back to School Night:

Thank you to all the parents who attended Back to School Night, and also a big thank you to the teachers for their hard work and preparation to make sure it was an informative evening for all.

Morning Routine:

The first grade students did a fabulous job with dropping off their backpacks and folders and then heading out to the large play area for supervision in this morning. Thank you parents for guiding your children that way so we can keep them safe while waiting for the bell to ring. A reminder for parents who drive their children to school - drop off time is 8:10 when the Kiddie Valet students are there to assist you with exiting your child safely from the car.

Coffee with the Principal:

Please join me for the first "Coffee with the Principal" on Thursday, October 18 from 8:30 am - 9:15 am in the Multi-Use Room. This is an informal gathering where you can get information, ask questions, and where we can get to know each other better.

I hope you have a wonderful week!

Donna Sims
