Roanoke Celebrates All-America City Win
Some of our youngest citizens gathered Sept. 14 on Mill Mountain for a ceremony to celebrate Roanoke being chosen as a 2012 All-America City. Children from One Step Further Childcare Center; South Roanoke United Methodist Preschool; TAP Head Start Lansdowne, Jefferson Street, and Rutherford Child Development Centers attended, as well as kindergartners from Lincoln Terrace Elementary School.
