Arts and Culture Plan takes center stage The City of Roanoke has long been an arts and cultural center for southwest Virginia. And by now, there can be little doubt that arts and culture play a vital role in the region's economic health and overall quailty of life. But this is no time to rest on our laurels! The city has spent the past year developing an arts and culture plan intended to become part of its Vision 2001/2020 Comprehensive Plan for shaping its future. More about how the plan was developed can be found here. |
