Proposed Countryside Plan Moves Forward

New Academy to Offer Inside Look at Sheriff's Office
Sheriff's Office Academy planning team

The Roanoke Sheriff's Office has created a new Citizens Academy to give people who live and work in the City of Roanoke a chance to learn about the daily operations and responsibilities of the Sheriff's Office. The academy will be held Tuesday evenings, April 19-May 24, 6-9 p.m., in various locations. The program is offered free of charge. Read more here
