THANK YOU !!!

Lincoln's Faith Community at Work in 2011

with the Lincoln/Lancaster County Habitat for Humanity

 Plan now to be part of  the  2012 Faith Build

Dear Partners in Faith;

Thank you.  Quite literally, we could not  have done God's work this year without you.

Your mission partnership has given hope and a hand up, not  hand out, to the working poor, profoundly impacting the lives of families and children in need.

Whether your faith community provided funding, supplies, construction labor, administrative or marketing support, site hosting, or lunches for our hungry workers, YOU have made all the difference.

We invite you to finish out 2011 by celebrating World Habitat Day during the month of October.  For ideas on how to engage your congregation in World Habitat Day actvities, click on this link.

We hope you will prayerfully consider dedicating a portion of your mission funds for the 2012 Faith Build and continue the fight against unsafe poverty housing.  Learn more about how you can be a part of it below.

Blessings,

Nancy Muehling, Executive Director

Join with other Lincoln churches in the mission to eliminate unsafe poverty housing.  You're not just building a home, you're building hope.

Shantytown

Connecting Pointe Church
of the Nazarene Fundraiser

Shantytown house
To dramatize the housing crisis for the working poor, members of Connecting Pointe Church of the Nazarene in Lincoln built a "shantytown" on their grounds with cardboard houses.

The project raised funds to purchase building supplies for the construction of a Habitat home.
