Dear Partners in Faith;
Thank you. Quite literally, we could not have done God's work this year without you.
Your mission partnership has given hope and a hand up, not hand out, to the working poor, profoundly impacting the lives of families and children in need.
Whether your faith community provided funding, supplies, construction labor, administrative or marketing support, site hosting, or lunches for our hungry workers, YOU have made all the difference.
We hope you will prayerfully consider dedicating a portion of your mission funds for the 2012 Faith Build and continue the fight against unsafe poverty housing. Learn more about how you can be a part of it below.
Blessings,
Nancy Muehling, Executive Director

2012 Faith Build
Pledge now to be a mission partner.
Most churches are planning now for mission funding in 2012. Your faith community can be part of improving the lives of the working poor, families and children in need right here in our own community.
Join with other Lincoln churches in the mission to eliminate unsafe poverty housing. You're not just building a home, you're building hope. To have a Habitat representative speak with your group about our mission, volunteer and funding opportunties, call Michele Williamson, Habitat Resources Coordinator, 402-477-9184, or email us. |

Faith Partner Highlights
Shantytown
Connecting Pointe Church of the Nazarene Fundraiser
To dramatize the housing crisis for the working poor, members of Connecting Pointe Church of the Nazarene in Lincoln built a "shantytown" on their grounds with cardboard houses.
The project raised funds to purchase building supplies for the construction of a Habitat home. |
