Dear Mission Partners:

The 2011 Lincoln Habitat for Humanity Women Build gives us a unique opportunity to celebrate our community and come together to demonstrate compassion in action.  We're not just building homes we're building lives and hope.

Join us for the groundbreaking ceremonies at 9:00 a.m. and meet our Habitat partner family, Molly Sukup and daughter, Ava.

If you are participating in the build, please come at 8:00 a.m. for safety orientation prior to groundbreaking.  Starting at 10:00 a.m, we will begin work projects.  We will serve lunch from 11:30 a.m - noon, then resume projects until approximately 3:00 p.m.  Space in the skills training class and on the build crew is limited,  so please reserve your spot immediately by calling 402-477-9184 or emailing us.

Join us for all or part of the day and ...

Let's build something together!

About Us
Lincoln/Lancaster County
Habitat for Humanity

Who We Are

Habitat for Humanity  is  a Christian housing ministry, working to eliminate poverty housing by building simple decent homes with and for the working poor.

Habitat Families

Habitat families work alongside us, putting in up to 400 hours of "sweat equity", and repaying the cost of building through a no-interest Habitat loan.  We offer a hand up, not a hand out.

Women Build Projects

Women Build is a special time around Mother's Day when women from all walks of life unite to address the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide and here in our community.
