Save the Date - Annual Meeting Sept 26
Learn more about working with people while working with animals The topics for this meeting will deal with communication: with each other, the public, the media, board members, elected officials, and more. This day will give us all some more tools to make us better at it! Participants will learn about "savvy socializing" from Merrilyn Lewis. She will demonstrate how to start and hold productive conversations, ask questions that further the discussion in a meaningful way, join a conversation in progress, leave gracefully and when and how to follow up. Brian Adams, Senior Manager of Media and Community Relations at the MSPCA-Angell, will discuss promoting the mission of humane organizations, as well as specific animals, through the media. He will also discuss raising awareness of the adoptable animals and for the special events that help fund this work. Find out more>> |
