Dear Reader Friends
" If you know that God's hand is in everything, you can leave everything in God's hand."
~Amish Proverb I hope Spring has sprung in your neck of the woods! It's a little hit and miss around the San Francisco Bay Area. No matter the weather...we can still count on Easter morning to arrive! (And yes, that's a metaphor!)
I'm in between book releases, so this will just be a quick update and a thank you for reader e-mails and FB wall posts. Plus, I wanted to give you a heads-up about some exciting news!
First, Amish Proverbs is a finalist in the Inspiration/Gift category for the ECPA 2011 Christan Book Award! Amish Peace was a finalist last year-what a privilege to receive nominations two years in a row. I'm so grateful!
Second, I'm going to be heading to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on May 12-14th for two book signings. Please stop in if you live nearby!
On Thursday, May 12th, I'll be at Servant's Heart Gifts & Books in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
3825 Hartzdale Dr. Camp Hill, PA 17011 (717) 737-6944
On Saturday, May 14th, I'll be at LifeWay's spankin' new store in Harrisburg from 11 AM-1 PM.
LifeWay 5096A Jonestown Road. Harrisburg, PA (The new store is located in the Colonial Commons Shopping Center between Marshalls and Office Max.)
Third, I've added a Prayer Closet page to my website. Every Friday I'll be collecting your prayers and setting aside some time in my Prayer Closet (which, is actually, my laundry room) to lift your requests to our Almighty Lord. Please visit that page for more information or to send me a prayer request.
