We got lots of questions about our popular Intensive Beginner Workshop, scheduled for February 25th 2012 at 1 - 5pm. Register today and send along your beginner friends - this really is a great way to learn the basics of how to dance confidently in freestyle - all in just one afternoon. You'll leave knowing how to dance some simple, yet sophisticated dance moves... and with our Ultra Intensive Beginners Workshop package you get the Saturday workshop plus 6 full 2-hour modern jive Beginner Classes all for only $69.
Other packages also available, check them out and get along for a great afternoon. Don't miss it. You may also register in our Thursday class if you wish. If you did the workshop previously it's just $20 pp if you would like to repeat it.

New Friday Night Jive Monthly Social!!

It's This Friday! Time For Friday Night Monthly Dance Social
Please join us on Friday January 27th at 8.30pm and the last Friday of every month to dance the night away at our new dance social in our new venue, El Rancho.
We'll have:
- The dance floor to ourselves - more space to dance
- Our own private event from 8pm to 11pm, 3 hours of modern jive dancing
- Great modern jive dance music
- Top DJ spinning some great sounds for us
- State of the art lighting and sound system
- Bar and great floor and ambience, perfect for dancing and relaxing
- Extended dancing after 11pm, we open up our room and either carry on modern jiving or head upstairs for some 80's, 90's and Soul vibes.
- Beginner lesson at 8.30pm before the dancing
All are welcome, so invite your friends!
When: Friday January 27th 2012 (and monthly, last Friday of the month)
Venue: El Rancho, Downstairs bar
When: 8.30pm- til late (stay on after 11pm for more dancing upstairs)
Cover: $10 on the door (includes short beginner lesson)
Pay on the door when you enter the club. You will be given a ticket, please hand your ticket to me when you come downstairs to the club bar. At 8.30pm there will be a 30-40 min beginner lesson - for those completely new to modern jive so you can get right into it. The rest of the evening is for us to dance and have fun - any way we like. A perfect way to kick the weekend into gear. Our DJ takes requests... so let him know if you have a favourite tune you want to dance to. Welcome to Friday Night Modern Jive!
