iPod Touch Dance Challenge Standings November 19th We're coming up to the last couple of weeks of our iPod Touch Dance competition but no-one's letting up just yet. With over 400 freestyle dances achieved in this contest and some major milestones crossed, we're still going strong. So how has everyone done this week?

First Night at El Rancho - Modern Jive Moves to College and Bathurst! A few weeks more to our new digs! For those just joining us, as of January 5th 2012, Jive  Nation Toronto Modern Jive lessons will be on Thursdays at our fabulous new dance club venue - El Rancho Restaurant at 430 College St. We're very excited and our first class there is going to be a blast. We've lots of people interested in coming out to see what Modern Jive's all about and it's going to be cosy so please join us for:
New Year, New Digs, New Night!!
Help us break in our new venue on College and our new night of dancing and social. Thursday January 5th 2012 will be our first night at El Rancho Restarant on College, join us for a FREE CLASS and OPEN HOUSE!! Invite your friends along to share a night of modern jive dancing, friendship, and social party at our special Modern Jive Open House at El Rancho Restaurant, our new modern jive home - all welcome. Beginner Class at 8pm Freestyle from 9pm to 10.15pm When: Thursday January 5th 2012 Where: El Rancho Restaurant, Top floor, 430 College St (at Bathurst)

November Monthly Dance Social and Freestyle

 Please join us on Saturday November 26th from 8.30pm til late for our monthly modern jive dance social. Dances count towards the iPod Touch Dance Contest, it's gonna be a blast - and it's the last chance to get a big tally of uninterrupted freestyle!
We are at the Monarch's Pub, Delta Chelsea Hotel. If you are on Facebook please RSVP to the event there. To become a confident dancer it's important to do as much freestyle as you can... so we organize our monthly dance social to give you another opportunity to dance outside our formal dance lessons. Plus they are great fun and even a few moves look really impressive on the dance floor. We do not charge a cover for this event so come on out join us on Saturday November 26th. See you there.

December 14th Modern Jive Holiday Class and Freestyle
|
Come along for a festive theme on Wednesday December 14th! It's the final modern jive class of  2011 as well as our last at the Walmer Centre. Let's dance it out in style.
We'll be having a Christmas/Holiday theme - wear something red green and white. Dress up if you like or come casual... Santa Hats are allowed and we'll be doing something a little extra special on the night! Don't miss it.
