iPod Touch Dance Challenge Standings November 2nd
It's November and only a few more weeks till we announce our winner in the Modern Jive iPod Touch Freestyle dance competition. How did we do this  week? Check out the latest on the blog. There are still plenty of opportunities to get those dance in for the prizes... several weeks of class freestyle, our monthly dance social - plus dancers can do up to 5 dances each at two "non-certified" modern jive dance events as long as they dance modern jive freestyle. We've crossed the 300 freestyle dances mark... can we make 400 freestyle dances in total before this contest is over? That would be amazing. Every dance counts - and as always a big thank you to everyone for the dances and fun.

on College!
We are counting down to our launch at El Rancho on College. Very excited and can't wait. In case you've not heard, as of January 5th 2012, Jive  Nation Toronto Modern Jive lessons will be on Thursdays at our fabulous new dance club venue - El Rancho Restaurant at 430 College St.
We are very excited and can't wait to move into our fabulous new venue on College. New Year, New Digs, New Night!!
Help us break in our new venue and our New Thursday night dance location. Thursday January 5th 2012 will be our first night at El Rancho Restarant on College, join us for a FREE CLASS and OPEN HOUSE!! Start off your New Year in great style with Jive Nation Toronto. Bring along any friends to share a night of modern jive dancing, friendship, community and social at our special Modern Jive Open House at El Rancho Restaurant, our new modern jive home. -- Keep ideas to as few words as possible: three words are great, two even better and one - fantastic.

November Monthly Dance Social and Freestyle

 Please join us on Saturday November 26th from 8.30pm til late for our monthly modern jive dance social. Dances count towards the iPod Touch Dance Contest, it's gonna be a blast - and it's the last chance to get a big tally of uninterrupted freestyle!
We are at the Monarch's Pub, Delta Chelsea Hotel. If you are on Facebook please RSVP to the event there. To become a confident dancer it's important to do as much freestyle as you can... so we organize our monthly dance social to give you another opportunity to dance outside our formal dance lessons. Plus they are great fun and even a few moves look really impressive on the dance floor. We do not charge a cover for this event so come on out join us on Saturday November 26th. See you there.
