Modern Jive Summer Boat Cruise Photos are up!
For those who may not have seen them on Facebook yet I've posted photos from our modern jive boat cruise on the website as a slide show. We had some great photos, and it was such a fun day. Feel free to use the ones on Facebook as your profile pics if you wish..
Sadly, all photo sharing sites mangle photos, the original files are even more gorgeous. They are also huge files. Some guests have expressed an interest in purchasing the originals - I will be in touch with you. We are loving the energy in this new format, great to see everyone staying for freestyle practice - good job all!
Class format
7.30pm - Intermediate Modern Jive Lesson and practice (please arrive 7.25pm for check in).
8pm - Beginner Modern Jive Lesson
9pm - Freestyle (practice time) for all til 9.45pm

Modern Jive August Dance Social
 Join us on Saturday August 27th from 8.30 pm til late for our monthly modern jive dance social. We had a great social in July... with the best DJ we've had to date. I had a great time. Thanks to everyone who came out, it was great to see you.
A good balance of music and a good turn out - we actually had more guys turn out than girls! Ladies, the guys have taken a brave step learning to dance and are doing pretty well. Come on out to our socials, and dance, the more the merrier. As well as encouraging the guys everyone gets freestyle practice and - you'll not be short of a dance if you want one. Even beginner modern jive looks impressive on the dance floor. Plus you'll see the difference in class which means more freestyle confidence and fun.
We are at the Monarch's Pub Delta Chelsea Hotel. Our monthly socials are a great way to meet people and make new friends.

Weekly Modern Jive Lessons
Wednesday Modern Jive - Beginner and Intermediate Lesson - 7.30pm at The Walmer Centre, 188 Lowther Avenue, Toronto. $15 Walk-in, $76 for 6 class pack.
Intermediate Lesson - 7.30pm, Beginners Lesson - 8pm, Freestyle practice - 9pm.
