Hello everyone!

We've some very cool events coming up over the next 3 months. Next Saturday May 14th is our Saturday Afternoon Freestyle Jive, June 4th is Learn to Dance in A Day and on Sunday July 24th we're inviting you to join us on a spectacular Modern Jive Summer Boat Cruise! Plus we've our regular weekly Modern Jive class.  The wedding season is upon us so be sure to grab every opportunity to build your dancing confidence - and you're sure to turn more than a few heads in the months ahead.

Saturday Afternoon Modern Jive May 14th!

Join us for freestyle and dancing practice on Saturday May 14th

at Saturday Afternoon Jive.  

Practice all the moves you've larned in class and pick up a few more. Pumping music supplied by our very own DJ Jonny English, fabulous dance floor and cash bar.

Venue: Monarch's Pub, Delta Chelsea Hotel. 

Time: 1pm - 5pm 

Cost:  $10, Students $7.00 with i.d.

This is a great opportunity to practice your freestyle dancing - freestyle simply means practicing linking the moves you've learned together as you get to dance with some of our more experienced dancers.  

Note: There no beginner lesson for this event, and you'll get the most from it if you've done 3 or more modern jive dance lessons. Got a particular move you'd like to practice? Then come along - we'll be there to dance with you.

Modern Jive Summer Boat Cruise! 

Sunday July 24th, 11.30 a.m. to 4.30pm

Join us for this Summer's fun dance event - the Jive Nation Toronto Modern Jive Boat Cruise. 

Enjoy an afternoon cruising across Lake Ontario, taking in the fabulous Toronto skyline, a super BBQ lunch, our very own DJ, dancing, cash bar, and a great company of people. It's going to be a fabulous fun day out... you don't want to miss it!

Venue: Boarding at foot of Bathurst St, Toronto.

Cost: $40 (includes 4-hour public cruise, BBQ lunch, tax and gratuities)

Important:  

Please let me know by May 20th if you would like to join us for this event. This is so I can give numbers to the cruise operator. I will provide payment details towards the end of May. You can also let me know in class.

Learn to dance confidently at our Beginner Modern Jive Workshop on June 4th.

Modern Jive May Dance Social

Join us on Saturday May 28th from 8.30 pm to late for our monthly modern jive dance social. All welcome so invite your friends. We are at the Monarch's Pub Delta Chelsea Hotel. Details will be on the Facebook page and the website and as usual listen for announcements in class.
