RIAAP
RI American Academy of Pediatrics    November 2011
Dear members,

This issue has interesting links on the left column to clinical research that can be done by a busy pediatrician in their office.

Please click on the PROS WEBSITE and ePROS WEBSITE (for practices with EMR) to browse on these opportunities.

There is also an exciting teen driving study (not available in RI) It has a useful website tool than your adolescent patients that drive can utilize.

On your right column there is a nice YOU TUBE presentation about a Teen study that is looking at Smoking and Social Media in this age group.

Enjoy!
RI Task Force on Premature Birth

At Women & Infants Hospital is part of the Rhode Island Task Force on Premature Birth.  One of the goals is to provide education and support for providers of pediatric care to premature infants to improve outcomes.

We are planning to have a number of initiatives. One is to produce a quarterly newsletter called Pediatrics Pointers.  The first issue is attached. We hope to make this available to all pediatricians and family medicine practitioners in Rhode Island.  Women & Infants Hospital is currently placing it on their website.
