Valley County Health System has published their fourth annual report. This online report is for the July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011 fiscal year. The report is an eight page, full color publication that is published annually as a method of communication with area residents about the services provided by Valley County Health System and the accomplishments of each year.

Jeffres Named Employee of the Quarter
Ashley Jeffres, LPN, has been named Employee of the Quarter at Valley County Health System for the 2nd Quarter of the 2011-2012 fiscal year. In a letter nominating Jeffres for the honor, a co-worker explained how trust is a word that exemplifies her character, not just her work ethic. She can always be counted on to do the task at hand with a smile. Jeffres is compassionate to her co-workers, residents and their families alike. "You can trust that Ashley will do a great job. She leads a department well, and takes great pride in doing so. She is always willing to lend a hand." Jeffres is the Restorative Care Nurse Coordinator at Valley View Living Center. She has been employed by Valley County Health System since November of 2004. |
Ord - Valley County Health System is pleased to announce the services of Jay Hawkins, M.D. Dr. Hawkins is a Board Certified Nephrologist with Wagoner Medical Group P.C. in Grand Island. As a nephrologist, Dr. Hawkins specializes in the treatment of kidney disorders and hypertension. He will be seeing patients at VCHS Specialty Clinic typically the second Tuesday of each month beginning the 13th of March. Dr. Hawkins is committed to providing a reliable monthly schedule at VCHS for his clinic. |
