New Facility Update #32

During the weeks of August 2 & 9, work continued at a fast pace in the new hospital.  A large shipment of office furniture was delivered and installed.  The landscaping project was completed and vinyl wall coverings and flooring installation continued in the main corridor and lobby areas.  The generator was tested and the exterior signage was erected.

Over the next several weeks ceiling pads will be installed in the remaining areas and floor coverings will be finished.  Final clean-up will begin in some departments.

The opening date for the new hospital will be Monday, October 4, 2010.  A dedication and public open house will be held on Sunday, September 26th from 1-4 pm.  For construction photos, visit the Photo Gallery at ValleyCountyHealthSystem.org.  For more information contact the Public Relations office at 728-4347.
