Congratulations!

To our Grand Prize

Winner..

Joyce Sousa

She is the recipient of the Bailey Holiday Drawing,

Gift Certificate for $1000.00

We here at Bailey's are so fortunate to have such a kind person win so BIG...Joyce was sweet enough to let us know how much she appreciates this win. She writes:
"I am a beginning potter. I love using the wheel but also enjoy hand building. I have always wanted to become involved in ceramics, but it has taken me until the age of seventy to make it happen. My goal has been to be able to do everything from start to finish here in my home. We are busy building studio space in one half of our garage. This generous gift has allowed me to finish out my inventory with a wonderful supply of tools as well as enabled the purchase of some beautiful glazes. It also allowed me to add some of the necessary equipment I needed to complete the glazing and firing process...I will continue to use Bailey for all of my supplies. Why would I not? You provide personal service. I always feel that my order matters to you. The shipping is prompt. Your inventory is enormous. It is simply a pleasure to do business with you. Please accept my sincerest thank you for this unexpected and generous gift!".

Sandy Besser, the world renowned collector of ceramics and other art, recently passed away in Santa Fe. The craft world will deeply miss this avid, eclectic collector. Our regards to all of Sandy's family and friends. The Santa Fe Clay Gallery was fortunate to present some of the marvelous Besser collection, which his estate wanted to sell. Jim and Anne purchased a few of the exceptional cups from this collection. The newly acquired treasures will be on display starting in February at Bailey Pottery. We invite you all to come and view the new additions to the ever growing Bailey Pottery Collection!
