FOCUS ON EXHIBITORS

TOP TEN REASONS TO EXHIBIT AT SE2:

The floor plan of the 2012 SE2 features a cozy layout for visibility and connecting

EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION

10. VISIBILITY: As the eighth largest USGBC chapter in the United States out of 79, WGBA's website and conference get a lot of attention. By becoming an SE2 exhibitor your company's visibility raises not only to the state level with our advertising but nationwide through the large USGBC chapter network. The SE2 is also being marketed by publications such as Insight Magazine and The Daily Reporter.

9. EXHIBITOR SHOWCASE: Two 30 minute Exhibitor Showcase slots on the agenda maximize attendee engagement with the Expo area.

8. IGNITE PRESENTATION: Each exhibitor receives 3 minutes on the big stage to present their company along with a PowerPoint of 12 slides running on the big screen; image transition every 15 seconds. Themes can range from a broad company profile to a very specific company aspect but are encouraged to present "fresh ideas" that IGNITE the audience on a subject, i.e. to generate awareness and to stimulate thought and action. WGBA will provide the PowerPoint template for your slides and instructional guide to coach you through the process. Slides must be sent in by e-mail (info@wgba.org) no later than September 24th to be scheduled for the program.

7. FREE TICKETS: Two tickets to the entire event  as well as free internet, power, table and chairs are included with every booth purchase.

6. KINDLE FIRE DRAWING: The first ever WGBA drawing will be held this year at the closing reception. Attendees will drop their cards off at registration when they arrive to get a chance to win one of two Kindle Fires at the Closing Reception from 5 - 6:30 that evening. Attendees must be present to win!

5. GREAT NETWORKING: Exhibiting at the SE2 conference is exclusive because booths are limited and networking opportunities are excellent. This year we are holding our first ever Speed Networking event. Speed Networking is a fun and effective meeting format designed to accelerate business contacts. Much like Speed Dating, Speed Networking involves multiple people gathering in a single space to exchange a lot of information in a short period of time. Spend one day at the SE2 and make all the connections you need for an entire year!

4. NATIONAL KEYNOTES: This year we have THREE exceptional keynote speakers representing three sectors of the built environment: Education, Business and Non-Profit. Vivian Loftness, School of Architecture Professor at Carnegie Mellon, will speak about the links between sustainable design and health and productivity. Clay Nesler, Vice President of Global Energy and Sustainability will give a presentation titled "A Day in the Life of a Smart, Green Building". Scot Horst, Sr. Vice President of LEED at USGBC will present a USGBC "State of the Union". Click HERE to view bios.

3. REGIONAL EXPERTS: Wisconsin's building and design community is known for the rich heritage our predecessors have left behind. Frank Lloyd Wright and Aldo Leopold to name a few. This torch is being carried by regional professionals whose subject matter expertise combined with their passion are continuing this tradition of greatness. Don't miss out on an amazing line-up of breakout sessions presented by our regional experts who include Leah Samson-Samuel, Peter Trio, Andy Brophy, Bryan Johnson, Tony Kriel, Jeff Urlaub, Kim Hosken, Molly McElligot, Bob Bayne, Fred Betz, Mark Hanson, Jake Peters, Colin Rohlfing, Sanyog Rathod, Theresa Lehman, Victoria Rydberg, and Jon Evans. Review the breakout sessions now by clicking HERE!

2. CLOSING RECEPTION: WGBA has celebration in mind at this very special closing reception. Fun and refreshments will be had of course but some important milestones will be toasted and we want you to be there! A Kindle Fire drawing and open mic opportunity FOR YOU will make the evening a stand-out and great way to end the 2012 SE2.

1. SUPPORT GREEN BUILDING: This event doesn't just support green building in general, it supports green building in WISCONSIN. This is your state, where you live and where you work. The SE2 promotes everything you do in Wisconsin and ultimately promotes your collective effort quantifying the great work all of you do day in and day out to make Wisconsin a cleaner, greener and healthier state.  The SE2 conference is part of WGBA's triple bottom line effort to improve YOUR bottom line. Exhibiting at SE2 or attending is doing your part to contribute to a better Wisconsin. Thank you!
