Dear Friend of WGBA,
Welcome to the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance!
We have an awesome summer schedule of events for you all planned by our talented regional volunteers. Let me first tell you the exciting news that WGBA was chosen to be EIGHTH out of the 79 USGBC chapters in the USGBC Chapter Annual Report ranked by a set of minimum performance criteria. We are honored to have placed this high on a national list of so many and excited to share the results of this report with you. Check out all the details in the Quick Links box to the left under USGBC Chapters Annual Report.
Back to our upcoming events: I don't need to mention the Miller Park tour planned by our excellent Milwaukee Co-Chair Annika Schuller-Rach, because I know you are all signed up for it! But we do have a few new programs on the calendar including the IGCC event appearing for the third time in Neenah at Miron and planned by one of our new Fox Valley regional volunteers, Brian Olesen. Our newest Madison Co-Chair, Rick Milburn has planned a tour of the new Epic facility in Madison for July. The third event is the informative ROI presentation by Jake Peters in Milwaukee, coordinated by Annika Schuller-Rach and Anne White and also appearing for the third time. This and the IGCC events were originally created by Rick Gabriel and Bill Rattunde of our Madison region. How lucky we are to have all of these great volunteers! If you would like to join one of these star teams around the state contact any of the co-chairs listed below and climb on board!
In closing I will say that I know you are anxiously awaiting the launch of SE2: A New Focus on Green. Hang tight, we are almost ready!
