The Contribution of Green Buildings to a Greener ROI | |

Tax deductions and special financing are available to help your green building and energy efficiency projects achieve a greater financial impact. Attendees will discover how these green building financial programs can benefit their project's ROI. Learn how from seasoned financial professionals with experience working directly with the business community. You will gain an understanding of the process, from start to finish, for receiving the tax benefits available to green building owners from the Federal §179D deduction. We'll cover the past, present, and future of this incentive, and also provide an illustrated example. Owners can claim a deduction of up to $1.80 per square foot for energy-efficient commercial buildings, and can even claim the deduction for prior tax years. Learn about using federal grants available through local banks to help you finance energy-efficiency projects and hear ideas to help your banker understand energy efficiency and how it increases their collateral. This presentation will be of great value to those organizations and professionals that develop, own, invest in, finance, appraise and insure buildings.
