During the presentation Light & Health, presenter Rodney Heller will discuss the impact of light on employee productivity and health. Rodney Heller, LC, CLEP, IESNA, is co-founder, lead designer and managing partner of Energy Performance Lighting. Rodney will cover:
1. Overview of current laboratory research
2. EPL lighting design case studies
3. Benefits of taking a Light & Health approach to a lighting
Project
When it comes to cutting greenhouse gases, lighting upgrades have proven to be a cost effective measure. Many companies with sustainability goals drive projects forward based on savings alone. The professionals at Energy Performance Lighting understand that lighting upgrades improve employee health and productivity in addition to savings. EPL's focus is to dramatically reduce the energy costs of internal and external lighting by 60-80%. The company works with businesses to ensure that they have the right lighting, are using energy efficient fixtures and bulbs, and get all possible reductions in greenhouse gases.
