WGBA Northeast Announces Scholarship Program  

The Wisconsin Green Building Alliance Northeast Region is pleased to announce the establishment of a new scholarship program.  This scholarship is open to Class of 2011 graduating high school seniors who attend a school located in the WGBA Northeast Region and are nominated by a current WGBA Northeast member.

This scholarship has been established to provide encouragement and financial assistance to high school graduates who are pursuing higher education and who demonstrate an elevated commitment and passion toward sustainability as it applies to the built environment.  Two scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1000 each.

Eligible applicants may obtain scholarship information and an application form by visiting the WGBA website at www.wgba.org.  Questions regarding the scholarship program can be sent to the WGBA NE Region Scholarship Committee via email at ne@wgba.org.The application deadline is June 15, 2011.  Scholarship recipients will be notified of award by July 15, 2011.

The final selection of the scholarship recipients rests solely with the scholarship selection committee, which consists of panelists who are members of the WGBA Northeast Region.  Selection of scholarship winners will be based on various qualities of the applicant as outlined in the eligibility criteria and by the responses and information provided by the scholarship application form.
