Michael Vickerman is the Executive Director of RENEW WI located in Madison. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Wind on the Wires, the American Wind Energy Association's regional partner in the Upper Midwest.

Mr. Vickerman will discuss the public policy case for wind energy, Wisconsin's experience with wind energy and the forecast for wind energy in Wisconsin. He will also profile the small scale 20 KW Renewegy turbine project at Menasha Corporation and the large scale 20 MW Shirley Wind installation in the Fox Valley. 

RENEW Wisconsin is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3)organization that acts as a catalyst to advance a sustainable energy future through public policy and private sector initiatives. RENEW represents the interests of renewable energy producers and purchasers in legislative and regulatory proceedings, educational forums, and in the development of utility renewable energy programs. RENEW also facilitates the Wisconsin Wind Working Group, a stakeholder body that serves as an informational clearing house on all matters relating to windpower development in the state.
