Awards Ceremony: The event will begin with an awards ceremony for the certifications of LEED-CI Platinum (Transwestern) and LEED-CS Silver (Pieper Properties).
Program & Tour:
The staff of Transwestern Sustainability Services (TSS) will provide an overview of their corporation and the mission of the Sustainability Team in Milwaukee. This will be followed by a look at the certification process of their office and the building at 234 W. Florida, to include a "case study" view of the strategy, roadblocks, and credits achieved. A tour of the building and TSS space will follow.
Refreshments will be served.

Call for Presentations: Greening the Heartland Deadline January 21, 2011

The Cin cinnati Regional Chapter of the US Green Building Council is pleased t o be selected as the host for Greening the Heartland 2011, the Midwest regiona l conference of the USGBC. From June 22-24, 2011, an estimated 1,000 attendees from throughout the 12 state region and beyond will converge on Cincinnati for three days to learn, share, and connect. The conference will showcase sustainable accomplishments in our region.
If you are interested in presenting at GTH 2011, the call for presenters closes on January 21, 2011!
