What is Driving Growth in the Frozen Convenience Food Category?

A recent report from the market research company Packaged Facts highlights a few frozen food segments - frozen pizza, handheld breakfast food, and prepared vegetables - that are driving growth in an otherwise fairly flat category.

Why? Pizza and breakfast competed successfully with foodservice outlets, while steaming techniques gave the frozen vegetable category a strong feature to use in competing against fresh produce.
