Every man comes to a point in his life when he asks the question, "What am I doing here?" We ask this (and if we haven't asked yet, we will) because there is a significant purpose for every man's life, but we have a difficult time understanding what that purpose is. So often we look at our jobs, our churches, even our families and we ask "Is this all there is?"
There is a way to find answers to these questions...and it's not through personality indicators and spiritual gift assessments. The answers are written on your heart and can be deciphered through your story, desires and journey. God has promised to "instruct you and teach you in the way you should go". (Psalm 32:8) So the question is not, "Is there a calling for my life?" or "Why won't God tell me what it is?"; but rather, "How has God been instructing me in the way I should go?".
