Mark your calendar for Friday, April 29^th! Join us from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for a cocktail party benefiting Baby's Space at the legendary Fine Line Music Café in downtown Minneapolis. Our annual benefit supports scholarships for children enrolled in the Minneapolis Baby's Space childcare facility and Tatanka Academy. This year we're adding convenient online registrations and payment. Watch your in-box in early March for our first-ever electronic invitation. And for those of you who wish to pay via check, we'll be mailing invitations the week of April 1^st. 

This summer we'll offer Tatanka Academy Summer Camp. Our five-week camp allows our current students to continue their academic, social and emotional progress. Mornings will be spent with Tatanka teachers strengthening core reading, writing and math skills. Afternoons will feature programming to connect the children to nature, which is part of traditional Native American values. The programming includes helping in Como and Little Earth neighborhood gardens. On Fridays, our students will be treated to educational (and fun!) field trips to the Arboretum, Como Zoo and local lakes and farms. We're accepting enrollments from students outside of Tatanka, too.
