Here are just a few specials from your vendors this week:

Featured Vendor - Johnston Family Farm

Johnston Family Farmis a family owned and operated dairy in Newborn, GA. We work to provide a premium wholesome milk to our consumers.

What makes Johnston Family Farm different is that we produce and bottle our milk completely on our farm, so you get the freshest product possible.

You may notice that our family farm cows are always happy. It may be because they're always well taken care of or it may be that they have acres of lush green pastures to graze over. With this stress free life style our cows produce an abundance of milk naturally.

Johnston Family Farm works hard to bring the best milk possible to your family's table. We invite you to follow us on twitter at
twitter.com/JohnstonFarm We love sharing our experiences here on the farm with all of our friends. We think you will be suprised at the things we do here on the farm. You can learn more about Johnston Family Farm by clicking here.

Sweetie Pie's Farm Fresh Eggs  $4/dozen

You know how things just seem to be moving along smoothly then a traveling salesman happens along.... I thought Sweetie Pie and the Girls were buying into the work ethic when a representative from the Frank Perdue Murry Dance Studio called on Sweetie Pie. Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth and the next thing you know the Girls were doing the Lindy Hop, the Poultry Polka  and a very flashy Fowl Flamenco. Of course their favorite was the Square Dance, you know ,"Chicken in the Straw". That was the one that blew the lid off the coop. All those hens trying to "swing your partner" and only two roosters.

At that point the salesman threw up his hands and refused to cut out more footsteps shaped like chicken feet and the roosters regained their balance and made plans to move permanently to Chickcago. With no more feet patterns for the hens to learn new dances and with the sudden desertion of the male partners, the hen all sulled up and staged a work slowdown. It is a good thing that we have two more farmers to supply eggs this week.
