Chinese Holiday Schedules

Our forwarding partners have provided the following schedules for Chinese New Year (CNY) for your review.  Liberty recommends importers book freight as early as possible and provide forecasts to our office for any shipments that will be moving prior to and in the weeks following CNY.

Narita has announced the last cut off before Chinese New Year is January 17, 2012. The departure date from Hong Kong is January 24. The cut off date for the first sailing after the Chinese New Year is February 7 with an ETD Hong Kong of February 13.

Dimerco Shanghai announced their Chinese New Year holiday will run from January 22 through January 28.  Historically Shanghai Customs offices operate on varying days / hours based on need.  It is not published at this time what that schedule may be. 

Dimerco Hong Kong announced the Chinese New Year will run from January 22 through January 25. The booking cut off date is January 21 at noon. The warehouse cut off date is January 21 at 8:00 PM. Work will resume on January 30.

Dimerco Qingdao has announced the following Chinese New Year schedule. Chinese New Year will run from January 22 to January 28, 2012. Qingdao Customs offices will be closed from January 22 to January 28. The Dimerco Qingdao office will be closed from January 22 to January 28. The cut off before the holiday is January 21. Work will resume on January 29.
