Why another newsletter?

The Missoula Cancer Control Alliance has asked for an overview of local cancer events and news.  This newsletter is provided by the Montana Cancer Control Program, edited by Diana Reetz-Stacey of the Missoula City-County Health Department.  Please forgive omissions & mistakes & send additions, corrections, & items for the next newsletter to:  Diana.
 

 MRCmtg   You are invited to the next meeting of the Coalition will be Thursday, February 10 from 10-11:30 at the Missoula City-County Health Department, 301 W. Alder in Missoula, room 210.  We welcome anyone who works with and/or is concerned about the Cancer Continuum - from prevention (personal & environmental), screening, treatment, support for caregivers and survivors, end of life care, research and policy.  Click here for the last minutes from the December 2010 meeting.

Breast Cancer Fall 2010 Activities

Missoula had an active, visible, and successful autumn filled with more activities and PR than previous years, drawing attention to Breast Cancer, encouraging screenings, supporting local agencies, and supporting survivors.  We've collected more than 20!  Use this guide as a reference for planning 2011 activities.

Missoula Responds to Cancer - Ongoing Resources
Helping Hand

Missoula is well known for its vast array of resources.  This is a first stab
at collecting 25 of the local services that are available across the Cancer Continuum, listed alphabetically.  We will work together to expand this list at the Feb. Coalition Meeting and will keep an updated list available on the website.   (Please send Diana corrections and additions!)
