SOON-TO-BE MOM?
Hi There! (and welcome to the new folks)

With spring comes newness & rebirth.  Check-out the new newsletter style, and visit my website for an updated look too!   I'm in school again to better support my clients & JUST BE is growing!!  Quite appropriate give this quote from a book that offers endless inspiration...

When spring comes the grass grows by itself.                ~ Tao Te Ching

A DEEPER MEANING TO SPRING CLEANING
So what do old t-shirts, dust bunnies, & craigslist have to do with your health?

They're all involved with SPRING CLEANING...which means there's a natural movement towards lightening up & starting anew.

This is past weekend I found myself scrubbing (literally! on my hands & knees!) & weeding out the junk... and I LOVED IT!  Cleaning is generally not my favorite pastime, but there is something so amazing about getting rid of the old, and creating that space & newness.  Thank God for craigslist (not to mention the bermuda triangle outside our apartment where you can put 'free stuff' & it will instantaneously disappear :)

Spring cleaning isn't just a business ploy to get us to buy cleaning products & storage containers - I think it's a natural desire that comes up as our inward winter nature starts to blossom open.

So how will you support yourself during this time of rebirth & renewal?  Here's a few ideas to consider:

1) fill at least 1 bag for goodwill - giving to others has a direct impact on our feelings of happiness & well-being.  If you haven't used it in one year's time...
2) clean out your fridge - finally get rid of the stuff that's been sitting there for ages.  Are you really going to use that duck sauce?  Not only is cleaning the fridge good for the obvious sanitary reasons, but it mentally creates a clean space & sets you up for clean, healthy eating.
3) renew your spice rack.  Spices are generally best used within 1 year of purchase.  And adding fresh spices to food means more flavor... so you can be satisfied with smaller portions... and that could mean easy lightening up! Consider restocking with whole spices & grind them as needed in a coffee grinder.
4) join my GUIDED SPRING CLEANSE.  Just as we clean out the house, let's clean out your mind & body.  I guarantee the experience will be a lot easier with group participation & someone to guide you through... read more below to join!
5) get outside.  Our bodies want to go with the flow... so connect with your surroundings (not your couch) & let your body tap into the natural flow. (also appropriate for the quote above).
