SPRING OVER TO ALBUQUERQUE IN APRIL
Greetings!
The spring equinox is just around the corner as you are reading this newsletter, and we've already set our clocks ahead for daylight savings time. While you're making changes and planning ahead, it's a great time to include the 2011 Southwest Region Conference in your schedule on April 28-30. The Albuquerque Chapter has organized a great event which includes their annual day-long Continuing Education Conference. You'll gain knowledge and insights, receive education credits, attend a comprehensive product show, and network with both CSI and non-CSI colleagues.
Chapter officers and volunteers will also have opportunity for unique networking, training, and planning for how our local and regional CSI efforts can be most effective. Check out the information and links below, sign up while it's fresh in your mind, and we'll see you in Albuquerque next month.
Sincerely,
Dave Bishton, RA, CSI, CCS Editor, Southwest Breezes |

CONFERENCE
INCENTIVE
WANT TO ATTEND THE REGION CONFERENCE BUT DON"T HAVE THE $$$? READ THIS...
The Southwest Region is offering members of the Region up to $400 to offset the cost of attending the CEC and Southwest Region Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico, April 29-30, 2011. A total of $10,000 will be available for distribution to Region chapters to reimburse their members for costs associated with attending the Region Conference.
In order to receive the reimbursement, Region members must register for the Conference and attend the events on both days of the Conference: Friday and Saturday. Sign-in sheets will be used to document attendance. Members who are working a booth at the product show will receive credit for attendance on Friday.
Following the conference, the number of members who attended all events on both days will be determined and the $10,000 will be evenly split between all qualifying members with a maximum reimbursement of $400 per member. Reimbursement checks will be sent to each chapter for their qualifying members, and the chapter will be responsible for distribution of the funds to the members.
If you are an attending CSI member without Chapter affiliation in the Region, you are also eligible for this program. Hope to see you there! |
