Outreach Spotlight
Karimu Brings Radical WelcomeOutreach

In 2008, Jessie Mackay and the Rev. Tally Bandy traveled to Tanzania and  discovered the true meaning of "karimu," or hospitality, from those who themselves had little. They returned to

found KARIMU, a 501(c)(3) that accepts donations from those who have heard their story and want to help at the grassroots level. Karimu can help individuals or groups sponsor a project or travel to Tanzania to volunteer. Current needs include books and uniforms for a primary school, operating room equipment for a hospital and scholarship at a theological college. Contact Jessie or Tally to arrange a presentation in your parish or visit their blog for information on how to donate.
